Welcome to the home of Black Patch Diesel racing. Our Dodge Ram mega cab ( Scarlet Fever ), although not your typical truck to be built into a race machine, has ended up that way. The engine was built from the ground up with the intentions of competing in local and national diesel events. Drag racing in sanctioned events is our main focus with local sled pulling a part time thrill. This site will let you follow our progress as the truck continues to grow in the sport and power department. You will find truck stats, past and coming events, achievement awards and future goals.

Vendors and/or product manufacturers visiting, we're always open to trying new products or supporting those we do use so, please drop us an email: trm@blackpatchdiesel.com if you would like your product or name to be represented by our truck. As shown in the events section, we get to as many events as possible and can bring a good amount of exposure.

I'm proud to say our truck made it the entire 2008 season without any issues or breakage. It was driven close to 10,000 miles this year and made close to 100 1/4 mile passes. In our opinion, quite the accomplishment for a big ole 4 wheel drive and a testament to many parts used. We look forward to the 2009 racing season with and newly refresh engine.
